Looking at 21 premium vinyl windows for replacement. My current wood windows have fragile full screens that haven't held up well over the past 20 years.

First, what's the tradeoff between full screens and half-screens? It seems like many windows come with half-screens as standard. One representative mentioned that half-screens are more susceptible to bugs. Do full screens make windows look more like wood windows?

Second, what’s the difference between fiberglass mesh and aluminum screens? Upgrading to aluminum costs $12 per window for Simonton 9800. What’s the likelihood of a crease in aluminum compared to a hole in fiberglass? Living in Kansas City, we experience severe weather, such as occasional hail storms. In general, which one is more visually appealing?
