As for where to get replacment ring sets, all your normal vendors should have them. Bottom line sometime you may end up with a couple of thou too big of a gap on some supplied rings, thats not the end of the world, what is listed above is optimal, but a couple of thou won't hurt anything, but if it starts to get to point of several thou, say .005" or above, then you may want to back up and punt, it could be the rings, or it could be a bore that is too large as well. It is possible from specialty ring suppliers, Total Seal, JE, Wiesco, etc. to get "file to fit" ring sets meaning they will have no gap when you get them an you will be forced to set the gap, that is exactly what we do on the race engine, so we can control ring gap to our specs.
Hope this helps.

.020" would be way too much ring gap for that bore size, I use a formula I got fom Total Seal to set ring gaps, it is as follows, I use +.020 MGB bore (3.180"as bore size.1st compression ring 3.180 x . = ."2nd compression 3.180 x . ." You should always check every ring in the bore it will be used in, I find needing a few minor adjustments all the time, and yes I found rings that no ring gap as well, so always check and adjust as needed. As for where to get replacment ring sets, all your normal vendors should have them.
