Flat Bottom Cryogenic Liquid Storage Tanks
Flat bottom tanks are round and stand on a flat base. They are designed to store various substances, customizable to meet specific industrial needs. Due to their efficiency and versatility, the demand for flat bottom tanks for cryogenic and liquefied gases has increased.
Types of Flat Bottom Tanks
Single Containment Storage Tank: These tanks have a basic dome roof construction. Their outer shell is insulated with materials like polyurethane foam to prevent heat leakage. Suitable for storing gases like butane and ammonia.
Double Containment Storage Tank: With a similar structure, these tanks are ideal for lower temperature storage, such as LNG and ethylene.
Full Containment: These tanks have both an inner and outer tank, designed to independently contain the stored liquid. They ensure safe storage and controlled venting of vapors in case of leakage. Full containment tanks are also known as full integrity LNG containers.
